General Information about the Glenarn, Helensburgh Location
General Directions
From Glasgow, make your way through Helensburgh on the A814. You will turn off the A814 at the Rhu Marina. Rhu is at the western end of Helensburgh.
Detailed Directions from A814) to meeting place
From the A814, turn up the hill – at Pier Road. Then turn right onto Glenarn Road.
Continue to the very end of Glenarn Road and go through the Invergare Gates. Continue up the driveway. Drive past the house being renovated (see indicated continuation of your drive in the blue box).
Drive up until you reach the parking area. Please park end-on around the edge of the tarmac.
You will see the piles of stone on the far side of the grassed area.
Hours
Generally, the Saturday will run from 9 am until 3-4pm. The Sunday will end a little earlier, for those with longer travel plans.
Notes
There are no difficult hills or walks to access the build.
