Giving something back
We are a registered Scottish Charity, and our aim is to promote the craft of Dry-stone walling in our community. We do this by developing partnerships with community organisations.
We design and build dry stone features which will enhance the community environment, and provide a showcase for dry stone walling. Project proposals and ideas are welcomed which fit with these aims, and can be put forward to the branch committee at any time.
We want to promote the craft of Dry-stone, and encourage community groups to take part in the build themselves. Many groups come to one of our courses beforehand. We can organise one-off training courses if there are enough people.
Please note we are a charity and do not undertake commercial work. All demonstrations and training events undertaken must be for the benefit of the community and promote the aims of the charity.
